During the ensuing ground battle, the Jedi were rocked by an explosion. Anakin and Master Hett came away unscathed, but Jedi Jul was not so lucky. The Battle of Aargonar would claim the life of Bhat Jul as he died in Anakin Skywalker's arms. A proper Jedi burial was out of the question as a sandstorm approached. A'Sharad Hett and Anakin Skywalker were forced to seek shelter in the caves of Aargonar and left Bhat Jul to become one with the Force amidst the rock pillars of the desert.
